It can be hard to find accomodation in Gothenburg. Unfortunately, the Student Union cannot help with locating accommodations but here is some tips were you might start searching.
Try to arrive at least two weeks before the start of the semester and rent a bed in a hostel while looking around for accommodation. It is always easier to search when you’re here than before arriving in Sweden! Before arriving here you can prepare by registering at the website of Boplats. You can also apply for accommodation at SGS Studentbostäder, the biggest provider of student accommodation in Gothenburg. You will find the application form on their website.
